The beginning

Well, it is the beginning of a new adventure for me. It was not an easy ride getting to this point. I have been an accountant in a previous life and for the last 11 years a full time mom. Suddenly I found myself in the what’s-next-for-me-phase. I guess you can call it a midlife crisis. I knew that I wanted to create things. I was not sure exactly what and how. It took me a while to figure out which way I wanted to go. And here I am. The easy part is creating and making handmade goodies, the hard part is getting it all out there in this big world; choosing a business name, setting up a website, taking photos of all the products, oh, and don’t forget the packaging, labelling, pricing, where to sell, what to sell and how to sell.

I decided to focus on creating and building up stock these past few months, as there was a lot happening in my life. And now I am ready to take the next step.

All my creations here are original, i.e. I have not used existing patterns, I created my own. In the spirit of teaching and encouraging others to find their passion, I will share my patterns and add tutorials to my site in the future.
